Dorint Hotel Dresden, Dresden

The hotel room was just what I needed for a short stay, with no atmosphere and some noise, but facing the side street offered a peaceful environment. The service was a bit lacking due to weak Wi-Fi in the foyer, but they did a great job cleaning. However, they missed informing us about the reservation requirement for the pool and sauna area, and had issues reading card payments. The location was quite convenient, close to the VW Glaswerk convention center and within a short stroll to the town's attractions. The dining options were a bit pricey with limited choices. Overall, a decent stay with some drawbacks.
